Founder's Message

From the Founder Desk

Jhabbu Singh Memorial College was established in 1980 by a great Philanthropist, Late Kailash Singh for providing higher education to the girl students in the Sub-Division of Bermo. The idea to establish a women’s College in Phusro stemmed from the fact that the girls did not have any educational facility in a radius of 40 Kms, because of which, very few girl students were able to pursue higher education. This left a larger section of the aspiring girls with no option but to abandon their desire for further studies.

Our College Facilities

The college provides the modern facilities for the students.

Computer Lab

The computer lab provides computer and internet facilities to our students. Computers in computer labs are typically equipped with internet access.

Library

The college has a well stocked library consisting of more than 5000 approx books and is spread over an area of 300 square meters.

Physics Laboratory

The Physics laboratory is spacious, well equipped with modern & advanced instruments for conducting lab experiments.

Chemistry Laboratory

Chemistry laboratory is a place where students either are extremely playful or very scared of using chemicals.

Botany Laboratory

Our college also provide a well maintained Botany lab with all the essential equipment to fulfill the need of the students.

Zoology Laboratory

The laboratory presents through its instruments an idea place for undergraduate students to study the histology of various cells, Tissue and Organs.

Psychology Laboratory

Our Psychology lab is a most modern lab equipped with latest psychological tests. Our lab provides various apparatuses that can used to assess various behavioural aspects.
